General Return Policy for Fully Functional, Non-Damaged/Defective Units
Any non-defective unit can be returned within 7-days from the date of delivery for a refund. The customer making the return is responsible for return shipping costs and a 10% or $20 restocking fee (whichever is less) which will be automatically deducted from the refunded amount. The refund will be granted after the unit has be received and inspected (normally no more than 72 hrs. after receipt of the unit). All original retail packaging and accessories must be returned with the unit.
This warranty is automatically included for free with all tablets sold. This warranty lasts for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase and covers any defects in materials or workmanship in your new device. This Warranty is provided by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), not by TNT. Costs for shipping to the manufacturer for warranty repair is the responsibility of the customer. Manufacturer's will typically offer "free" -China Post- return shipping, however, at the customer's request (and our sincere recommendation) TNT can upgrade return shipping to EMS/DHL/Fedex (depending on customer location) for a sum of $20 payable by the customer. TNT will "liason" between the customer and the OEM and track the progress of warranty service for the customer. The customer will not have to deal directly with the OEM outside of shipping their unit to them.
Top Notch Tablets will repair or replace your purchased tablet or phone for a period of 12 months. This option includes 6 months of accident protection** and North American warranty service. The customer will be fully reimbursed for return costs during the 12 month period.
TNT Max Warranty. Top Notch Tablets will repair or replace your purchased tablet or phone for a period of 15 months. Includes 12 months of accident protection** and North American warranty service. Additionally, Top Notch Tablets will provide a prorated purchase credit for 9 months following the initial warranty period. Buyer will be fully reimbursed for return costs during the 15 month period.
**Accident Protection: Accident protection is just that. You drop your tablet, or forget it on top of your car and drive away. Your kids thinks it needs a bath.....etc. Accidents do happen, and Top Notch Tablets is here to make sure you are fully protected.
What is NOT covered?
Any problem that is caused by abuse, misuse, or an act of God (such as a flood) are not covered. Also, consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
What can void the "basic" OEM warranty?
A. Physical Damage - Aside from small scuffs and bumps and including water damage. If your device is still functional but fairly scraped up and something does break as a result of a factory defect (i.e. 5 months in your device won't turn on) then the factory will still repair your unit but not outright replace it.
B. Electrical Damage - Using the wrong charger, power surges, etc. If you think your device has/had a bad charger and it damaged your unit that falls under being a "factory defect" and the charger needs to be sent back with the unit to verify this.
C. Opening Up the Device - Exposing the internal components. Many units CAN be opened up without harm, HOWEVER if something breaks and the factory discovers evidence that the unit has been disassembled they may require that you cover the cost of repairs. We recommend NOT disassembling your unit if you want to keep your "basic" OEM warranty in-tact.
D. Software Modifications that Make "Physical" Changes - An example of this would be overclocking your processor or the memory. Aside from that, we are okay with any other firmware or software modifications you wish to make.
How do I get service?
In order to be eligible for service under the these warranty options you must contact Top Notch Tablets for a return authorization and instructions on return depot address (Plus and Max customers) or OEM Address ("basic" customers) and preferred carriers. For Plus and Max customers, we will inspect your purchase and contact you within 72 hours to give you the results of our inspection and an estimate of the repair time, replacement tablet delivery date, or prorated purchase credit amount, if covered under warranty purchased. The buyer will be responsible for paying for any approved parts or labour requests for out of warranty purchases.
How does State law apply?
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
